Kohl Center tickets & upcoming events

If you’ve ever been to Madison, you know the Kohl Center is more than just a sports arena, it’s kind of the heartbeat of the campus and a go-to spot for big events. Opened back in 1998, this place quickly became legendary, especially after the Badgers’ first men’s basketball game where they beat Iowa 77 to 68. It’s not just for basketball, though. The arena really shines during those epic concerts and big NCAA tournaments. I mean, I’ve seen everything from college hockey games to huge concerts by bands like Phish or Mumford & Sons, and the energy is just electric. The Ground Level often transforms into a mini festival, with top entertainers and spirit squads hyping up the crowd during breaks. If you’re trying to snag a good spot, be prepared for the rush when doors open, prime seats go fast! Parking can be a bit of a headache during peak times, so give yourself some extra time. And if you’re new to Madison, the Kohl Center is pretty much the crown jewel of campus venues, always buzzing with activity. Whether you’re there for a game, a concert, or a special event, it’s a place that’s got character, excitement, and a little bit of Madison magic.
